Melissa Vann Director | General Manager
Melissa is a proud Aboriginal woman who grew up on Yuin Country - South Coast of NSW. She is responsible for Murra Southern Hire client partnerships, community engagement, procurement functions, risk and compliance, operational and financial performance.
Her commerical experience includes managing and mobilising multi-site commercial and government contracts across regional and metro NSW and NT. Melissa is passionate about projects focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment opportunities, training and mentoring programs, Indigenous Supplier spend and community.
Melissa was a recipent of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Women’s Regional Rural & Remote Diversity Scholarship with the support of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women.

Rudi Vann Commerical Manager
Rudi grew up in Batemans Bay and has a strong connection to the community and local industry. He is responsible for the mobilisation of corporate and government contracts, maintenance, servicing and supplier partnerships.
Rudi's technical expertise and industry relationships have been the major contributor to the diversification of Murra Southern Hires equipment offering and ability to mobilise complex and multi site contracts across New South Wales.
Rudi has an engineering background and his commerical experience includes over 12 years analytical experience, covering all facets of the natural resource sector. Rudi held senior management positions for the entire APAC region and was responsible for multiple research divisions. He has been heavily involved in client and industry engagement, delivering in-depth data analysis, analytical report writing and designing research solutions for a wide-ranging client base.
